College and Career Center
The West High School College and Career Center provides a variety of resources for college and career planning. The Career Center is a place where students can come to obtain information on two and four-year colleges and universities, testing and test preparation, financial aid and scholarships, career possibilities, college majors descriptions, and information on jobs.
In collaboration with the academic counselors, we continue to work on building a comprehensive college-going culture for all students. In addition to scheduled appointments, students are welcome to come to the Career Center during lunch or after school to utilize the resources. While we support all students, the majority of individual appointments are scheduled for seniors and juniors. Senior appointments will begin in September and continue into the spring semester, and junior appointments will begin early in March.
