Freshman Registration- Welcome Class of 2027!!

 

We believe that all students can achieve and succeed. It is our mission to ensure all students become critical thinkers, problem-solvers and are prepared for college and/or a career. 

 

We are excited that your student will be a West High Viking! Viking Pride has existed since 1965, and we welcome new Vikings to this culture of excellence. In August, we will welcome almost 630 incoming freshmen to the West High campus. During the 2022-2023 school year, we will have 2000 students enrolled and nearly 150 staff members on our campus.

The academic programs at West High are taught by talented and dedicated teachers. During the summer, our teachers will collaborate to develop and refine curriculum that uses instructional technology and hands-on strategies that are guaranteed to engage our students in the learning process. 

 
 

For the 2023-2024 school year, all freshman students will have the following classes:

  1. English
  2. Math
  3. Physical Education (PE)
  4. Health/Career Tech
  5. Science
  6. Elective

Summer School classes are available for students. The first day of summer school will begin on Monday, June 5th, 2023.  Summer School hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
