project best in Akron I School District exist for one reason to help out American men  complete the a through G requirements and earn admission into the University of California or the California University system  many years ago we found that African American men had the lowest rate of graduation lowest rate of success in college and we wanted to address that issue by setting up project best for the Kern High School in I've been involved in Project best since the beginning of the program as the district director for many years while I was assistant principal once I became print Stockdale High School I decided to just focus on the students here at stop though I am involved closely with the program and help my counselor misses what brown facilitate the activities here it's about go High School  I meet with the students at the beginning of every year and we review there script weird either grades you talk about their college options and what activities they should be involved in here at Stockdale High School if they want to options later on  Hodgy Beats done so much for me I got to have if I got I want you to get back to share my experiences with the younger generation of students hopefully then they will also you like me in Excel like I have what West High School the best project makes the connection for kids  I can be on any high school campus and I can point out kids who probably need an extra someone to raise their expectations so for me here West High School get kids  who have this dream this belief that they can go on and succeed try to make that  a truism for the MacArthur Blackledge Jerry The King Lawler  the project was program has helped me buy it it it showed me what I could do with my few add life isn't over after high school like what it says on the back of senior jacket that's not true because you have a great life ahead of you a full life and you have to sure you're ready for the the challenge of the head that's what I believe is done for me cleaners we have a very special award  we want to give him a medal and on this mountain says MacArthur outstanding senior West high school so if you aware Crowley Cafe Josie go young man and so what I do here on this campus is try to bring those conversations than my teachers had with me bring them to life when give me when I talk to these kids because they're the same kid they're the said there was a little Alphas that I'm talking to and then they want just as badly to be some why is that
