Hi Everyone!
I just want to take a moment to highlight our amazing and talented kids in our esports program.
Last Saturday, our Fros Soph, JV and Varsity Overwatch teams battled their way through a grueling 12-hour tournament at BHS to be crowned 1st place division champs across the board.
Coming into the last week of the regular season, we held the first-place seed with an undefeated record but lost to Independence and got knocked down to second place seed for the final tournament.
Our kids showed grit and determination to analyze where they went wrong in the IHS matchup. They studied film, looked at the mistakes they made, proposed plans to overcome their opponents and elected to additional supplementary practices with the 2 days they had to prepare for finals.
Their resiliency and competitive spirit paid off as our JV and Varsity teams were able to overcome 1st place seed Independence and bounce back from a crushing defeat day prior.
